AI Fall Detection System using RDK X5 and MIPI camera — built completely from scratch with real-time body keypoint tracking.
In this video, I build a real-time AI fall detection system that instantly detects when a person falls and triggers an LED alarm. No cloud. No delay. Everything runs on the edge using the powerful RDK X5 AI development board with a 10 TOPS neural processor.
The system uses AI body pose estimation to track shoulder and hip keypoints in real time. When your body goes from vertical to horizontal — fall detected. LED turns ON. Instantly.
You can replace the LED with a buzzer, relay module, email alert, or a full IoT emergency response system.
