Coyote Dirt on Upright

I’ve done several more rides accumulating distance towards my challenge of about 1000 miles/1600 km this month. On track so far, I’ve covered 613 km (378 miles) so far. Friday was a long brisk day so I took it easier yesterday, riding my upright out to the Coyote Creek trail, where I rode on the adjacent unpaved trails. Those are mostly used by walkers and horseback riders. I had a fun ride with nice scenery on a beautiful morning before it had heated up too much.

Coyote Creek
This double track is what a lot of the terrain is like. Pretty sparse and thistly vegetation this time of year

This is where the dirt trail rejoins the main trail right at the bridge under US 101

Nice view of the Santa Cruz Mountains in the distance
