While grating the tomato is a simple way to simultaneously reduce the coats and crush them & ndash, without the need for blanching, using some tomato paste enhances the flavor and texture. Fresh basil leaves and some( optional ) butter are added at the end for a deliciously straightforward, rich, from-scratch tomato sauce made with fresh tomatoes. Garlic flavor is subtly infused throughout.

I & rsquo has been looking for a fantastic homemade tomato sauce for pasta made with fresh tomatoes. heirloom tomatoes, regular tomatoes & ndash, slicing, etc. & ndash, not San Marzano in particular. Any method to big vegetable can be used with this new tomato sauce. In fact, I believe it to be superior to Rao’squo, * gasp! * My hubby fully concurred.
