Here’s how to turn on hard fall detection on Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 / 8 Classic so you can stay protected in case of emergencies. With this feature, your watch can automatically detect when you take a hard fall and quickly alert your emergency contacts for help.
Turn On Hard Fall Detection On Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 / 8 Classic;
-Go to Settings on your Galaxy Watch 8 / 8 Classic.
-Scroll down and select ‘Safety and emergency’.
-Tap on ‘Hard fall detection’ and toggle it on.
-Choose whether to require a swipe before calling emergency services, or allow it to call automatically.
-Enable the warning sound, which alerts you before the watch places an emergency call in case it was a false alarm.
-Decide if the sound should play on both watch and phone.
-Set the emergency number—default is 999, but you can change it to your country’s emergency number or add a custom contact like a trusted family member.
