Here’s how I collect cardiac samples for training: • Only collect a sample when you are symptomatic, not just when your heart rate is high. • Make sure you haven’t eaten anything at least 30 minutes before collecting a sample. • Soak the gauze thoroughly to ensure a strong scent source. • Label the sample bag with the date, heart rate, and symptoms for reference. • Store samples in the freezer for up to 3 months or in the fridge for 3 days.
