Video captures our activation of an emergency alert using the LifeFone At-Home Cellular Medical Alert system. You can see how we pushed on the necklace button, and it activated an alarm. A red ring lights up on the button itself. The big round button on the white base unit turned blue and red. There was an audio “Emergency Alarm!” annoucement. The response time for this test call, between a button push and their care agent answering, was 32 seconds.
In the video, the test call connected through AT&T’s network. This is an in-home system that does not require a home phone line.
