A well-known medical id bracelet and a business called Lauren’s Hope were born out of the love of jewelry and the desire to assist the young woman.
” Health Card bracelets” are unsightly and they highlight people’s ailments. That is not popular. They don’t want to be referred to as being unique from everyone else, said Lauren’s Hope co-owner Denise Gaskill.
According to Kelly Eckerman of KMBC, the jewelry are special in that customers can order a single physician label with all of their emergency health information printed on it. The label can be fastened to a variety of watches, necklaces, and bracelets.
Lauren, the babysitter for the designer’s children, refused to wear her medical id ring, so the bracelets were created.
The bracelets immediately received countless requests from the custom, and Lauren’s Hope was founded in Riverside.
” We created the website, and it immediately took off.” You wouldn’t think it. It’s been wonderful. It has appeared on QVC, in People Magazine, and in the Wall Street Journal. It’s just been incredible, Gaskill said.
In addition to the jeweled recognition jewelry, there are sleek velcro and colorful dog tags that are well-liked by both boys and men.
According to Eckerman, celebrity Halle Berry has one. Berry suffers from diabetes.
According to Eckerman, responders are trained to look for a clinical label when they take their pulses, so those who are worried that the id bracelet may be mistaken for style jewelry should be concerned.
